FM Survival Guide

I want to thank everyone who participated in my fist giveaway!  I received some really great answers, but I have to give it to my first responder: Sandy Parkington.  Here’s what she said:

If I had a day of freedom from Fructose Malabsorption (FM) I would use the time to focus on getting the message about FM to the medical profession. Rather than using my time on meal planning, shopping, and cooking FM foods during the day, I would work on a plan to educate physicians, nurses, dietitians, etc. about recognizing the signs of FM and how to treat it. Too many of us go for years undiagnosed because of the lack of information about FM within the U.S. medical system.

The lack of knowledge about FM among the medical profession is the main gripe I hear from people, and it’s the most frustrating thing for me, too.  I’m really rooting for Sandy to get her day off from FM!
